Live like a Japanese in the country’s capital – you can do that without flying to Japan for a whole year! As a participant in this program, you have the opportunity to live in Tokyo for a few weeks or even several months while learning Japanese at one of our partner schools. During your time in Japan, you’ll live in your own accommodation, cater for yourself, or optionally have your host family cook for you, allowing you to get to know the traditions and lifestyle of the Japanese people.
As always, our comprehensive support is included, assisting you not only on your journey to Japan but also once you’re there!
Our partner schools in Tokyo have locations in several districts, including Takadanobaba (Shinjuku), Ikebukuro, Shibuya, and Harajuku. All districts are centrally located in the heart of Tokyo, so you can dive right into the hustle and bustle after your language lessons and experience Japan’s capital firsthand.
If you’ve already chosen a campus, you can select your preferred location directly in your online account after registration – or you can leave the choice to us, and we’ll find the perfect school for you.

Your path to Japan
At Nipponcademy, you get everything you need for your stay in Japan, organized from a single source: a suitable language course, your accommodation, and personal support – before departure and directly on site. You can book conveniently through us and we will take care of everything being prepared smoothly for you.
To ensure this is successful, we work with selected, experienced partners in Japan – e.g. with language schools and accommodation providers who welcome you on site. We take over the organization for you, while the implementation of these services lies directly with our partners on site.

The accommodation is provided by our experienced partners on site; you conclude the rental agreement directly with the respective provider and we take care of the smooth organization

During your Stay in Japan
– Daily language course conducted by our partner schools (Have you already decided on a school? You can specify your preferred school during your registration)

– Personal support during your entire stay: Whether upon arrival, in everyday life or with small and large challenges – we are always there for you and help you quickly and easily – no matter what it is about
– Individual support in Japanese everyday life: We advise and accompany you e.g. when registering with the citizens’ office, opening a bank account, looking for a part-time job, concluding a SIM card contract or also when interpreting – for example during a visit to the doctor or with letters in Japanese. Our support does not stop with the language course – we are your reliable contact person on site

You surely still have questions despite all the information – and that’s completely normal. We would be happy to discuss all your questions, uncertainties, and concerns in a personal conversation.
We have summarized frequently asked questions from our prospective students here.
As soon as you have registered with us, we will check the availability of your desired stay and then organize your accommodation in personal consultation with you. Your registration is only binding after payment at least 30 days before departure. However, if you change your mind after registering, please be fair and let us know as soon as possible, as there may be someone else on the waiting list who would like to take your place.
You will find cost information on the language program and accommodation. No additional costs will be incurred – all fees are already covered.
Unfortunately not. All language schools in Japan divide their classes according to level and number of students, so unfortunately we do not know which group you will be placed in until shortly before school starts. After three months, however, the classes are always reshuffled.
