Application for a Japan Program
First, select your ideal Japan program, create an account, and proceed to register for your stay in Japan using our obligation-free registration form. Within the form, choose the "Single Apartment" option provided.
Search for a suitable apartment
Next, we collaborate with real estate agents to locate a suitable apartment for you. In Japan, there are limited options for short-term rentals available to foreigners, and apartments become available and are rented out quickly. Therefore, we will finalize your apartment arrangement shortly before your departure.
Arrival in Japan and conclusion of the rental agreement
For most properties you can move in right after you arrive in Japan. In some cases, you’ll just sign a short lease document in Japan; we arrange a quick in-person appointment and the key handover. If you’d like a viewing first, we’ll schedule it on arrival (same day or next day). Otherwise, we prepare everything in advance so you can go straight to your new apartment.
Furnishing your home
Only in some cases: The final step is to conclude contracts for the water and electricity supply. You also need insurance to cover damage in the event of a fire or earthquake.
