Share House

Life in a Share House in Japan

Live in your own room and share the bathroom and kitchen with your flatmates! Similar to student residences at language schools, you have the option to book a single room and enjoy a great time with your flatmates. Unlike traditional student dormitories, where you live predominantly with fellow students, here you'll find a diverse mix of people from around the world, including language students, working professionals, and travelers. Some accommodations even house Japanese students. For those keen on living with Japanese individuals, explore our category 'Living with Japanese Students'.

Your advantages in a Share House

In a shared flat, you’ll never feel alone thanks to the family atmosphere, communal cooking evenings, and regular excursions. You’ll meet many wonderful people outside of the language school and gain lasting impressions that will stay with you for life. We collaborate with numerous providers offering single rooms across Japan, ensuring we can arrange ideal accommodation within easy reach of our language schools.

Since many accommodation providers charge a one-time administration fee, we recommend Share Houses, particularly for longer stays, as the total cost is higher for shorter stays of just a few weeks.
